If they fear you, they would adopt all mean measures to make you silent.
Why They Silence You?
They silence you,
Only when they fear you.
They silence you,
Only when they fear
not just you, but your words.
They silence you,
Only when they dismay and doubt,
they won't be heard more.
They silence you,
When they are left with
no less choice of the
mean and meanest way
of self-defense.
They silence you,
Yet more when they
further fear they may lose
the power and they can't exist
in the air of prejudice as before.
They silence you,
when they want to cling on
to the chair that
they don't deserve.
They silence not just you,
but the entire system
and gives a warning:
"The big man is watching".
They silence you and
they camouflage you
when they know you will
for certain talk for your rights.
They silence you with
autocratic declarations, singing
the mantra of democracy.
Pity you Hippocrates!
And yet they silence you,
They still talk about you
to all the funny craps around.
At the end of the day,
they come and say
you got your rights
only when I sacrificed
many principles for my continuance
and made you silent,
When I watch again and again
the dignity and self-respect
I fear in you and silenced you.
