None have amazed me in life as she did. She instilled in me all little drops of knowledge to kindness, with her warmth.
How can it?
When you are the poem-
Of our life.
When no poetry happens, let me try to talk a bit about her...
She, Amazed me Always
She grew up without her father, which wasn't either by will or choice. And was brought up by her mother( Ammama), who worked enough and more to bring up her two girl children. The family was again supported by many uncles who took the responsibility to marry off the elder girl by seventeen years, and by eighteen years she became my mother.
Even today, it's what I find worthy in my dad. He travelled all way long, more to two hundred kilometres after a senior friend of his told my dad. " I got a girl in my family. You just come and see her one day". And there ended her pre-degree course too( student of NSS College, Changanassery), was again a studious one, who scored the highest mark in Chemistry, in her tenth level exam.
But, there started a good journey of a family consisting of Amma, Achan, me, my sister and my brother. I believe she was blessed with us three, within her twenty three years and again kudos to Achan alone. But more than what I or we three owe to our dad, it's just to Amma alone. It's because of her alone, we three make her all way proud.
She was all way growing with us, I always thought so and yet love to believe that. Time hasn't made any more changes to this sweet lady. What I am today. What my sister, Indu is. And again what my brother Dr. Sarath does. It's all this lady behind. It's just she and none else.
And she has amazed me ever. In a time she couldn't google out, or help out from any study apps or softwares, but could find the solutions of anything and everything under the Sun, and kept us engaging with her newer study methods, she mastered us in science, languages and again with life lessons too, which my moral science classes could hardly do.
And now it changed a bit, only in the way she masters her grandchildren depending quite a bit on some gadgets, because she knows the world is struck on them now. And I get amazed again, that it's the same lady that grows along with her grandkids.
Amma, nothing more for now. But take it, I know one day there will be a bulky book in our library rack which will tell the whole story about you to your grand grandchildren.
All wishes and love on this day. Mother's Day, they call it.
Parvathy
