We travelled together,

When we never wanted to see another world.

We dined together,

When we never wanted to fill our appetite.

We laughed together, 

When we never wanted to talk silly.

We danced together,

When we ever wanted anything rhythmic.

We fought together,

When we couldn't do it back.

We teased each other,

When we didn't want to anymore.

We slept together,

When we never wanted sleep.

And we were together,

When we didn't want to be together.
